Delivery Policy

Delivery Information

We deliver flooring across Ireland using reliable local couriers, and heavy goods haulers

  • All orders shipped via courier will include a tracking number, allowing you to monitor your delivery.

  • All orders are delivered on pallets via specialist haulers using kerbside delivery, meaning your order will be placed as close as possible to your entrance.

If your drive way is gravel the delivery will be left at the entrance to your property. We will always try to get the pallet as close to the front door as possible

Please note that third-party couriers and hauliers cannot:

  • Unpack your order

  • Dispose of packaging materials

  • Leave goods without a signature

  • Bring items inside your home

Ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery and move it inside safely.

 

Access for Large Vehicles

Before placing your order, please confirm that your address is accessible for large delivery vehicles. Narrow roads, low bridges and other obstacles may impact delivery. If you’re unsure, contact us for guidance.

 

Checking Your Order

It is essential to check your order upon arrival to ensure it is complete and undamaged. If you notice any issues, please:

  1. Accept the delivery but note any damage or missing/incorrect items on the delivery docket.

  2. Contact us immediately so we can arrange replacements.

We can only replace damaged items if they were signed for as damaged. 

Once a delivery has been signed for, it becomes your responsibility. We cannot accept liability for any damages or losses after this point.

 

Why We Charge for Delivery

We charge for full flooring deliveries to keep our pricing competitive. This ensures there are no hidden fees within the price of the flooring. 

Late Deliveries

We strive to deliver on the estimated date, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We recommend scheduling installers only after receiving and inspecting your flooring. In the rare case of a late delivery, we will arrange an alternative date as soon as possible.

Returns Policy

Returns Information

We’re confident you’ll love your new flooring, but if it doesn’t meet your expectations, we offer a hassle-free return policy.

  • We accept returns of unopened packs within 5 days of delivery. Restocking fee of 25% will apply.

  • Part returns of orders will not be accepted unless previously agreed with Flooring Direct.

  • To be eligible for a return, all items must remain in their original packaging and in perfect condition. We are unable to accept returns for products that have been opened, damaged, or are not in their original packaging.

  • We allow the return of one opened box per order for customers to inspect their flooring. The opened box must be carefully repackaged in its original packaging and remain unused and undamaged.

  • All costs of returning items to Flooring Direct are the Buyers responsibility.

 

To initiate a return, please notify us by email within 5 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with the return address and you will need to arrange the return shipment. The items must arrive at our facility within 7 days of delivery and be accompanied by a completed returns form. Once the items have been inspected your refund will be issued less the restocking fee

Damaged items

  2. Contact us immediately so we can arrange replacements.

We can only replace damaged items if they were signed for as damaged. 

Once a delivery has been signed for, it becomes your responsibility. We cannot accept liability for any damages or losses after this point. In order for any replacement of goods to be issued we must receive the damaged goods back on the same day as the delivery of the replaced items. 

​If your order arrives and nobody is home to receive it you will be liable to pay for the necessary second delivery charge to get your order re-delivered.

Refund Payments 

Please note that payment processing is beyond our control and it can take up to 3 additional business days for the funds to be credited to your account.

 

Please be aware that you will be responsible for returning goods to us at your own expense.

All returns are subject to approval by FlooringDirect.ie.
